The Pan American Lofts for Lease in the Historic Core
The Pan American lofts was originally known as The Irving Byrne Building and was built by Sumner Hunt back in 1895. Referred to as the second olderst building downtown. Once home of the Mexican consulate during WWll. Additionally once housed the offices of The James Irvine Company (namesake of the city of Irvine). In 2007 Long Beach builders Urban Pacific renovated the building with a $20m budget updating it with 40 high end loft/condos. Broker Randelle Green (of Downtown's The RandelleGreen Group) along with Doma properties led the the sales team in the original sales efforts. The Spanish Colonial/Beaux Arts style edifice was granted the Mills Act property easement for future home owners, one of the first in DTLA. The famous "Hitchcock" staircase was restored to it's original glory! Used by the eccentric director in many of his films as well as Brad Pitt's "Seven" and "Fight Club".
