Originally used by the Spreckel brothers John and Adolph, well known industrialist of the day, as a sugar beet storage facility back in 1906. The property was re-designed by renowned architect John B. Parkinson in the 1920's. Mr. Parkinson who is best known for designing Los Angeles City Hall, The Memorial Coliseum and Union Station.
