Barker Block (Warehouse #1) Background/History
In 2006 Barker Block developer KOR renovated O.T. Barkers 1880 furniture manufacturing warehouse into 297 stunning, concrete residential lofts for purchase. They left standing a small brick building on the back side of Molino Street, just a block east. Not until 2014 did they go back in and complete this section. The result was boutique annex to Barker Block that they would call "Warehouse #1". It would hold 65 lofts, very similar to the original Barker Block, but this smaller more intimate boutique building would have a different look. More exposed brick and century old timbers and less concrete. It would have its own open air lobby and address a block east along with it's own parking structure.
